Codename ParkourMultiplayer parkour shooter in UDKDescriptionCodename Parkour was a spare time prototype developed over the course of 2011. It was an attempt to create a multiplayer competitive shooter with parkour elements. Everything shown in the video works in multiplayer, even with poor enviroments with 200 milliseconds of lag and 10% package loss. In its current state state the game had wallrunning, sliding and mid-air crouching achieved by my dynamic ledge detection system. Development stopped when I realized it perfecting every aspect of the networking would take too much time. While most of it worked flawlessly, the project was too time consuming next to my studies. |
